Murderer of Original 50 Cent Arrested For Triple Homicide

(AllHipHop News) Julio Acevedo is finally going to be brought to justice after fleeing the scene of a hit and run incident which claimed the life of a couple and their unborn child.

The 44-year-old Acevedo was apprehended by NYPD officers in Bethlehem, PA after a friend arranged for his surrender.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday (March 6th), Acevedo surrendered to NYPD officers after awaiting extradition to New York while being held by Pennsylvania State Police.

According to chief spokesman for the New York Police Department Paul Browne, Acevedo has only been charged with fleeing a crime scene, said nothing to the police officers and had no attorney present when arrested.

On Sunday (March 3) Acevedo crashed into a cab with Nachman Glauber and a pregnant Raizel Glauber as his BMW was allegedly going 60 mph.

Acevedo was arrested less than a month prior on February 17th for driving with a blood-alcohol level almost double the .08 legal limit.

Acevedo informed a reporter at WABC/Channel 7 on March 6th that he was speeding to escape gunfire he experienced near Carlton Avenue.

“I was speeding trying to get away because I was scared from someone shooting at me,” Acevedo told reporters. Carlton Avenue was the home of deceased street thug Kelvin “50 Cent” Martin whom Acevedo murdered in 1987.

The man who inspired Curtis Jackson’s rap moniker was affiliated with a few Hip-Hop heavyweights such as Eric B and imprisoned manager Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond.

Henchman helped tell the story of the deceased stick-up kid in the 2005 DVD “The Infamous Times-Volume 1: The Original 50 Cent”.

The current 50 Cent filed a lawsuit claiming Henchman used unauthorized interviews and failed to give the DVD’s proceed’s to Martin’s family.

However, the two parties eventually reached an undisclosed agreement.

50 Cent Cancels Club Appearance After Boxer Billy Dib’s Defeat

(AllHipHop News) Rapper 50 Cent nixed a performance in Meridan, Connecticut after the loss of boxer Billy Dib, whom the rapper promotes through his new company SMS Promotions.

The Australian-born boxer lost his IBF world featherweight championship to unbeaten Russian Evgeny Gradovich, during a Friday night (March 1) fight at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Dib, 27, lost a 12-round split decision in a bloody battle that left him with a severe cut above his right eye, as well as a cut on the left side of his head, from an elbow.

50 Cent, who walked into the ring with Billy Dib and performed his single “New Day,” decided to cancel an after party at Club Sinergee.

The rapper was supposed to make the high-profile appearance after the boxing match, which resulted in police boosting their security in the area.

Club Sinergee owners were disappointed, but claimed that 50 Cent was in the hospital, as Billy Dib was being treated for his injuries.

“I don’t want to belittle that situation, but I still would’ve made an effort to come,” said Michael Carusone, who thank the disappointed fans for being “understanding.”

The owners still considered the evening a success, attracting well over 500 people to Club Sinergee, which holds about 700 in total.

DMX’s Wife Takes Shot At 50 Cent Over Cancellation Of “Starters Wives Confidential

(AllHipHop News) DMX’s wife Tashera Simmons has weighed in on the cancellation of her reality show “Starter Wives Confidential,” which was recently canceled from the TLC network’s lineup of programming.

Tashera Simmons was one of the ex-wives/girlfriends featured on the show, which also included ex-girlfriends/wives of Floyd Mayweather Jr., Lamar Odom and rapper 50 Cent.

While 50 Cent has claimed in reports that he had a hand in “Starter Wives Confidential’s” cancellation, TLC recently issued a statement after the show was axed, blaming bad ratings as the reason the plug pulled was pulled.

In a statement released today (February 21), Tashera Simmons lashed out, claiming the show was canceled due to “many inflated egos.”

“I am no stranger to television and what just happened was unheard of and completely unorthodox,” Tashera Simmons told AllHipHop.com. “There were millions of dollars and a lot of hard work put into this project by the producers, staff and my costars. It’s hard to believe that there are still some fundamental issues in our society about women speaking up or having a voice.”

According to Tashera Simmons, “Starter Wives Confidential” was more than just a reality show – it was about a group of women “stepping out of the shadows of their ex’s and finding their way in life personally and professionally.”

Tashera Simmons took an obvious shot at rapper 50 Cent, claiming that a double standard existed in the entertainment industry.

“It’s okay for rappers to get on television and tell their story about how many times do were shot or how they were heavily in the drug game, but it’s not okay for women to share their story about their life experiences,” Tashera Simmons said.

Tashera Simmons is working on her memoir titled “Finding Tashera,” in addition to coaching her son Xavier Simmons, as he embarks upon a career in the music business.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Ja Rule Out Of Jail Already? 50 Cent Pushed Back?

I heard a bird and the bird told me that Ja Rule is out of jail already, early for good behavior. I don’t know if its true, but he was originally supposed to get out Feb. 21, but I’m hearing he may already be out of the bing, EARLY! But another source, who emailed me earlier in January said he’s getting out two weeks early. This means he’s getting out in roughly a week. Shout out to Ja. Now its time for that comeback!

Its murdddddaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Did 50 Cent get pushed back?

Oddly, 50 Cent is to release his Street King Immortal around the same time Ja Rule was to get released from jail, Feb. 26. But sources are suggesting that the final album that will free 50 Cent from Interscope will pushed back again. Again? With a hit record with Eminem and Adam Levine? I dunno. This could be a sabotage! They just wanna keep him on the label. Chief Keef ain’t selling diamond!

We’ll see.

“Hahaha fat boy hit the building?lol it looks staged to me. No hole’s in da car.”

I remember once upon a time, people thought 50 Cent was faking his gun shots. Remember those days?

I am hearing that Ross has upset some people, and we know this. But, it has been impressed upon me that this is the work of the GD’s. I heard its another well-known gang of dudes that Ross once was cool with, but now is not. What are you hearing? Hit me up at kingillseed@gmail.com!

50 Cent Flaunts Gunplay’s MMG Chain On “Major Distribution” Video Shoot With Young Jeezy

(AllHipHop News) Rappers 50 Cent and Young Jeezy shot their parts for the video to their new single “Major Distribution,” in Atlanta yesterday (January 5).

The new track, which also features Snoop Lion, is taken from 50′s upcoming album Street King Immortal.

50 Cent, extended members of G-Unit and members of Young Jeezy’s CTE were on hand during the video shoot and tweeted photos from the set.

It appears the 50 Cent will take some shots at his rival Rick Ross in the upcoming video.

Rapper Kidd Kidd posted pictures to his Instagram account, which showed an individual wearing what appeared to be Gunplay’s MMG chain.

50 Cent and Rick Ross have been feuding since January of 2009, with the most recent altercation taking place during the BET Awards in September.

Members of G-Unit brawled with Maybach Music Group artist Gunplay backstage during the BET Hip-Hop Awards, where the Florida rapper allegedly lost his signature MMG chain.

During the same ceremony, Maybach Music chief Rick Ross and Young Jeezy were involved in a minor scuffle backstage as well.

Since then, 50 Cent has been taunting Rick Ross and Gunplay.

In October, 50 Cent released a video of himself bowling in Atlanta and wearing the chain.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Are 50 Cent And Game Reuniting?

What would you say if I told you that 50 Cent and Game were reuniting and putting G-Unit back together? As unrealistic as that sounds, it actually won’t take much to get them back together…this is all according to Game, of course, who has an album to sell!

In a recent interview with BET.com, Game reveals what it would take to get the group back together. Check out what he said below:

“It wouldn’t even taken $ 10 million for [G-Unit to get back together]. What 50′s gotta do is let go of his ego. I don’t hold grudges, man. I think I was mad for the time being when we were going through that and after that, I immediately graduated to a neutral ground where that could of happened but it’s 50 man. Once he calms his ego and realizes that there still could be the possibility of G-Unit reforming then you know, who knows? But I know you can’t put together G-Unit without Game and 50. 50 can do all the memories but if I’m missing, it’s just not complete. And if I try to do it but he’s not there, it’s not complete.”

Game, do you really think it is that easy? 50 hates you! And Young Buck is in jail! And Lloyd Banks is in limbo! And Tony Yayo, well, who knows where he is! Nonetheless, I do give Game props for not holding onto that grudge forever. You can do those things when you’re winning.

EXCLUSIVE: 50 Cent Emerges At Pacquiao Fight Tonight; Would Put Yuri Gamboa Against Adrien Broner

(AllHipHop News) Entertainment mogul-turned-boxing promoter 50 Cent will debut his star pugilist, Yuriorkis Gamboa, tonight in the undercard of the mega fight with Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao.

Gamboa, an undefeated former Olympian, represents a cornerstone of 50′s entry into the sport, but the Cuban-bred boxer is heavily favored over his opponent Michael Farenas this evening.

In fact, after AllHipHop.com asked, 50 said that he’d be willing to put Gamboa up against emerging super star Adrien Broner in the Super lightweight division (140-pound).

“I would [put Gamboa against Broner]. Gamboa’s next fight, he’ll probably move up to 135. That’s exciting, right? That what people want to see, right?,” 50 told AllHipHop.com about a potential bout with Broner.

Moreover, 50 Cent – through his SMS Promotions – said that he wants to match boxers in the ring that will entertain the masses as well as boxing enthusiasts.

“I want to make the fights that fight fans really want to see without the running and dipping and dodging.” the newly anointed promoter said, addressing a criticism of the sport. “If you got the best talent, and as long as the dollar amount is correct, I go back and talk to Gamboa and he’ll say we’ll fight.”

Broner has been compared to champion Floyd Mayweather, but mostly regarded as a future major attraction to boxing for his braggadocios ways and flamboyant style.

50 Cent continued: “Based on his last performance, [Broner] is going to be the face [of boxing] or the future of the actual sport in some way. He’s a talented fighter and [Broner vs. Gamboa] is something that everybody would like to see, right? That’s what I want to do. I don’t want to do the thing that the promoters do when they don’t want to make the real events happen. That’s what happens when you promote fighters like Gamboa. People pull out [ the fight] when they realize what they are up against.”

Right now, Gamboa represents in the 130 division, and has a record of 21-0-0 with 16 KOs.

50 Cent recently received his promoter’s license from the Nevada State Athletic Commission and has signed four fighters, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Andre Dirrell, Billy Dib and Celestino Caballero. Initially, a promotion s venture was a with Floyd Mayweather, but the pair were unable to continue with the business.

The Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao will play live tonight on HBO Pay-per-view from Las Vegas.
